At the Foot of the Long Hill REVISED 2007 EDITION NOW AVAILABLE
A Story of Herodsfoot by Sally Hall

First written for the 150th Anniversary Year of All Saints Church, 'At the Foot of the Long Hill' paints a picture of the village and Parish's past.

This revised edition brings the story up to date and is paid for by subscription from the Village Community as a tribute to the late Sally Hall and all that she did for the community. All the proceeds of sale will be given to All Saints Church funds.

This book is for anyone who finds the way in which communities are formed and grow - or not grow, as the case may be - a fascinating subject; the past is the present and the future.

60 pages, illustrated with photographs and map. Price £3.50 + 75p postage to UK addresses. To order a copy contact Cathy Gough on 01579 320135, e-mail
